The one breakthrough piece of news this morning is that Judge Timothy Kelly granted a temporary restraining order for the White House to allow banned news organization to regain their passes.  The White House responded by declaring that access had been restored as of 9:55AM EDT this morning.  But this will hardly be the end of this story. Otherwise, read my posting of yesterday regarding the scheduled meetings, dinner and such between Donald Trump and Xi Jinping.  In other words, nothing much will happen, except this economic "truce" will be extended into January 2027. Fun varies.  Some go hiking or surfing or cuisine dining or shopping .... whatever you wish, if you had the time, money and will.  I once golfed on Saturdays, mostly at the Ala Wai Golf Course. However, I just went to West Loch this week.  Note that the Rainbow Shower Trees are in bloom. I yesterday bought an Apple 13" Macbook Air Starlight because my travel computer had some minor problems.  I did not realize that it was 7 years old!  I had them transfer my files, and they called me today to pick my new portable up.  Cost?  $1150. Had lunch at Assaggio's Ristorante Italiano, an escalator down from the Apple Store at the Ala Moana Shopping Center.  Ordered a bowl of Pasta e Fagioli, Antipasto and Ossobuco, with a Peroni beer.  The bread here is wonderful. First I'm intrigued by the sudden popularity of this blog site.  Visitors: All Time 8307449  Today 774535  Yesterday 882129  This Month 2796190  Last Month 653676  In other words: 8.3 million viewers since this blog began 18 years ago. 0.775 million today, which has a few hours to go. 0.882 million yesterday. 2.8 million this month. 0.654 million last month. My first blog was on at the end of April 2008, so this site is now a little more than 18 years old. 18 divided into 8.3 million gives 1263 visitors per day. Yesterday, there were 0.88 million visitors, a record that will be broken today. Could well reach 1 million viewers today, which would be 792 times more than my daily average. For reasons I can't comprehend, this blog site has gone viral. There was a jump in visitors during our recent 50-day trip to the USA and Canada. Historically, I do get more viewers on a trip.
