LAS VEGAS TO DENVER

Took photos of our taxi ride to the airport.  Allegiant Stadium. Casinos. Excalibur. The MGM Lion. Harry Reid International Airport.  He was president of Senate from 2008 to 2015. The United Club in Las Vegas is okay.  Free drinks and decent food.  Boarded our United flight to Denver. Meal and drinks, starting with some Glenfarcas scotch. Ever have a dark chocolate sea salt QUINOA? Departing Las Vegas, I continued to be amazed at how much dry open space there is in these parts of the USA.  But finally, an hour and a half later, the Rocky Mountains. Denver. WE ARE IN LAS VEGAS

We left Honolulu yesterday, and I had to transfer in San Francisco. San Francisco Airport looks new and spiffy.  Haven't been here in at least four years.  The United Club is also nicer looking, but far too small.  People need to wait to find a seat.  I had a soup and beer, caught the flight to Las Vegas.  Business class on United was terrible.  The seat had no leg rest and reclined maybe two inches.  Better than the next plane to Vegas which had no adjustment.  Worst of all, I asked for peanuts or chips, and the steward said that I needed to go to their magazine and pay for ordering them.  I said, isn't this business class?  He said no, this is first class.  United?  Can you believe this? The sun was setting, so after leaving Honolulu at 8:45AM, landed in Las Vegas at 9:30PM .  A taxi to the Circa with tip would have cost around $50.  Took Bell Trans for $20, with tip.  The problem is that the van has oth...
