Well, finally went to a Christmas Market yesterday. We thought that this Viking cruise was a Christmas Market Cruise. Not so, apparently, as the cruise director recently announced that this was a European River Cruise during the Christmas season. The real Christmas Cruises just began. Tricky advertising. Anyway, we have five days left, and all of these stops will have a Christmas Market. But Regensburg also had one, so here are those photos. Actually, if you've been to one of them, future ones will not be much different. Regensburg: At the Danube River's northernmost point. 150,000 inhabitants. Has 28,000 immigrants. Medieval center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, kept intact during World War II. St Peter's (or Regensburger Dom) Cathedral is the city's landmark, built around 700 AD. We start with lunch on a day I did nothing. Fish and Chips. Plus pork. Dinner was prime rib steak and Caesar Salad, so no sense showing them again. Only walke...
