Did you know that President Donald Trump once owned a professional football team? Here he is shaking the hand of one his New Jersey Generals USFL football team players, Herschel Walker, 41 years ago.  Now you know why Trump endorsed Walker on his Georgia Senate campaign, and just named him Ambassador to the Bahamas. In 1985 with Doug Flutie, Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback who signed with Trump. Like almost everything he owns, the United States Football League went bankrupt. Trump played football as a student at the New York Military Academy. He maybe showed up at the Super Bowl because Louisiana, Missouri and Pennsylvania voted for him in the recent presidential election. He played golf with Tiger Woods this morning and will fly into New Orleans to watch the Super Bowl today from the suite of New Orleans Saints owner Gayle Benson. Given to a people who accidentally removed themselves from the gene pool by foolishly using energy or electricity. Winner:  Electrofishing, by Javier, to catch more fish faster.  Used an electrified metal fishing rod with a live electrical wire to stun fish in nearby waters.  I couldn't find out who Javier was or if this actually happened. Runner up:   A prisoner in Arizona was taken for an MRI. The technician told the guard he didn’t need to remove the prisoner’s shackles for the scan, nor did he need to remove his gun. Both the guard and the prisoner were immediately sucked up against the machine. To make matters worse, instead of hitting the big red emergency "off" button, the technician spent more than 15 minutes trying to call the supervisor to ask ...

Two-thirds of Americans watched at least part of Super Bowl 56.  However, most went on to other things.  Spend your Sunday as you normally would anyway. Go to church. Shop. Watch your friends/family play softball. Spend a day at the beach. Hike up a mountain. See Netflix or go to a movie. Get an early dinner at a restaurant, if on the East Coast. Or a leisurely lunch at your favorite Sunday place. Etc. In other words, you can do all the above, and still watch the Super Bowl at 1:30PM ET.  On the East Coast it will be getting dark.  On the West Coast it will be past mid-afternoon.  Even in Hawaii the start time is 1:30PM.  For those who just don't like to watch sports, the commercials are almost worthwhile.  Plus, after all of that, you'll be a better conversationalist in your everyday life.
