WHAT IS HEAVEN?

Learned minds for more than 10,000 years have written about Heaven.  Every religion has some form of Heaven or life after death.  According to a  Pew Research Center  study in 2012, approximately   84%   of the global population is considered theistic, meaning they are affiliated with a religion and believe in a higher power;   this is based on data from a comprehensive study across over 230 countries and territories.   The remaining 16% are called atheists.  To some degree, atheism is forced on the population by dictatorial governments. 157 of 232 countries have Christian majorities. Earlier this year, a Pew survey revealed that 70% of Americans as spiritual. While 28% of U.S. adults claim no affiliation with organized religion, this number jumps to 43% for those under the age of 30.  The younger generation is less inclined to be theistic. HAPPINESS

Continuing the weekend, first, the University of Hawaii volleyball team lost to UCLA in the championship game.  Look for UCLA to repeat next year.  Had a nachos and beer, a follow-up to Cinco de Mayo. Had a  Woodford Spire  for the Kentucky Derby. The story of the day had to do with Cory...and his horse, Cody's Wish, which was running a in pre-race. Cody's Wish won.   Watch this story here . Heartwarming. I had mentioned getting Kentucky Fried Chicken to eat with the Woodford Spire to watch the Kentucky Derby, but heck, 15 Craigside also had fried chicken. What is the the most important matter in your life?  Some might say  family, others mention wealth, world peace, freedom, security, and hundreds of other notions.  Something called happiness appeals to me.  I am today very happy, and on the verge of  Euphoria #4 .  While on the recent Seabourn cruise  I almost attained that state , but never quite reached it.
