Yes, there are alligators in Louisiana.  Also, Creoles, Cajuns and Acadians.   How are alligators different from crocodiles?  Snout and jawline shape, Alligators have a wider, or U-shaped snout, while crocodiles are V-shaped. When looking at an alligator, only the top teeth are visible.  Both up and down can be seen when crocodiles close their mouth, Crocodiles can grow to 19 feet long.  Alligators only to 14 feet.  In fact, according to Google AI: Saltwater crocodiles are significantly larger than any alligator species . Saltwater crocodiles can reach lengths of over 20–23 feet and weigh over 2,000 lbs, while the largest American alligators rarely exceed 15–17 feet and weigh closer to 1,000 lbs Crocodiles are lighter in color, sort of light tan or olive, compared to the black and gray alligators. Alligators are relatively more timid, and will mostly try to escape rather than attack.  But will strike back if provoked or while defending their young...

DAY 20. GEORGE TOWN, CAYMAN ISLANDS

Most don't know that there is a country in South America called Guyana.  The capital and largest city is Georgetown.  The country is between Venezuela and Suriname, with Brazil to the south, and faces the Atlantic Ocean.   That is not where we are.  There is a self-governing British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean Sea called Cayman Islands, located 277 miles south of Cuba, 310 miles northwest of Jamaica and 480 miles southwest of Miami.   There are three islands, and on Grand Cayman is George Town, the capital.  City has a population of 41,000, which is half the total of the entire territory. Grand Cayman has become a haven for the rich, for no tax is charged for income earned or stored. GDP/capita is $109,684, the highest in the Caribbean.  The  World Bank , however, only says $96,074/capita, occupying 7th place in the world.  Monaco is #1 with $240,861/capita, Lichtenstein #2 $187,267, Luxembourg #3 128,259, and Cayman #7....
