I don't feel like writing about religion, COVID, sports and politics today. So I'll end my cruise series with some fantasy. I've traveled around the world a dozen times and in January of 2021 was scheduled to embark on a 111-day global cruise. The pandemic cancelled that adventure. But around the world is not totally living on the seas for the rest of my life. Come to think of it, I love gazing at the blue Pacific from where I'm composing this article, but I'm actually afraid of the ocean, for it can get dangerous and hostile, and my swimming ability is limited.
