TWICE AROUND THE WORLD: Part 2

Remember, did you move your clock forward by one hour?  We are now into daylight savings time, and New York is 6 hours ahead of Hawaii.  3 hours for the West Coast.  The time difference between Tokyo and Honolulu is always 5 hours because we remain at standard time. One more point of remembrance.  Wednesday, March 17, is St. Patrick's Day .  There was an actual character named Patrick, who was born British around 460 AD.  However, all you've heard about him is probably false , such as chasing snakes out of Ireland.  He was never canonized. March 17 is a public holiday in Ireland.  However, we do more celebrating in the USA.  In Ireland, they have Dublin Coddle ( right ), a layered dish consisting of bacon, pork sausage and potatoes.  Or Irish Stew, which consists of lamb, potatoes, onions, leeks and carrots.  Here are 18 more Irish dishes . AROUND THE WORLD: The 2021 Option...PLUS

As the U.S. Senate is in session on this Saturday,  just had to chime in as to what is happening.  Initially it looked like witnesses would be called in this second impeachment trial of former president Donald Trump. Why?  Bipartisanship cooperation? Democrats have somewhat been torn about extending this effort, for that would be to the detriment of the White House's wish to get pandemic funds to the masses and confirming department secretaries.  That's the cover story.  They have already decided, with Biden's okay, to wring out as much rubbish they can about Trump, for everything that has happened so far has hurt Republicans. Republicans are in trouble, for they are currently split down the middle with pro-Trump and anti-Trump voters.  Why calling witnesses is bipartisan is that the Republican leadership ( meaning minority leaders Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy ) would need to come to a resolution that maintaining this current attitude will hurt their bid to overtake t
