O CANADA

The  O  in  O Canada,  the national anthem of the country, acts as a vocative exclamation used to directly address the country with strong emotion, and is a declaration of love, loyalty and protection for the nation, highlighting its natural beauty, history and promise of freedom and strength.  About Canada: Is geographically larger than the USA, 3.855 million square miles to 3.678 million square miles. #1 is Russia 6.6 million sq. mi., with China #3 at 3.705 sq. mi.  Canada is #2 and U.S #4., with Brazil #5 at 3.288 sq. mi. QUEBEC, CANADA

First, how do you say Quebec? The English pronunciation is kway-BEK, with the accent on the last syllable.  BEK is said like a short BACK. The French pronunciation is key-BEK.  BEK is also said like a short BACK. No one says Q-BEK. More about this province ( which is like a state in the U.S. ) and city. Quebec is Canada's largest province by area.  About equal to Alaska. Both Quebec City and Montreal are in this province, which is the only Francophone-majority in the country. I will not say much about Montreal.  First because for some reason, we went right pass it, and second because we will be on the Azamara for the total solar eclipse in August, which will take us from Iceland to Montreal.  However, we last night passed by this city, and the lights were fascinating, so I will tomorrow show a few photos.
