He started lobbing his problems with House Republicans’ "One Big Beautiful Bill." He called it an abomination, a debt bomb, a mistake that would cost incumbents their jobs if they didn’t reverse course. He said Trump would never have been elected without his financial help. (That one is probably right, as Musk was the single largest patron of efforts to get Trump back in power.) And, for good measure, in a social media post mid-afternoon Thursday, Musk said Trump is in the unreleased dossier about those involved in a sex trafficking operation of disgraced billionaire Jeffrey Epstein. But first, the House passed President Donald Trump's Big, Beautiful Bill by one vote.  The Senate will debate and adjust the details, and weeks from now, something to lower taxes for the rich and lower lifestyles for the poor will ultimately pass.  Republicans do run the White House, Congress, country and maybe world.   Democrats are powerless to do much, and worse, there is nothing they can do to prevent Donald Trump from becoming a dictator, the story of this posting today. The World Health Organization ( WHO ) this week adopted a  Pandemic Agreement  to make the world more equitable and safer from future pandemics. It took three years to get to this stage. Member nations will share information about the coming pandemic, and will provide 20% of vaccines to WHO.  The logic is that the entire world will need to prevent the advance of virus. While our economy spirals downwards with Trump's tariffs, and this Saturday experiences  a thousand "Hands Off" anti-Trump protests across the nation , the U.S. Senate last night sneaked through Trump's tax breaks and spending cuts, his "big, beautiful bill."  The House will find a way to get this legislation to President Trump for his signature.   Those protests won't convince the U.S. Congress to combat Trump's authoritarian overreach and billionaire-backed agenda.  It's almost like he is orchestrating the movement to crescendo into fire and turmoil, so that some time in the early fall of 2026, he can establish military rule and cancel the mid-term elections.  Might be unnecessary if he in the meantime purposefully defies any Supreme Court action to establish dictatorship anyway.  The judiciary and defense departments are run by his cronies, and our courts have no enforcement powers. This blog site has been operative for 17 years.  Over the years, I've averaged 500 readers/day.  For some reason, my blog yesterday,  MARCH MADNESS, 15 CRAIGSIDE, BROADWAY and LUCY,  drew more than 6,000 people.  I don't know why, for this was just a hodgepodge of assorted and minor things on my mind.
