SHOULD YOU NOW BE SERIOUSLY WORRIED ABOUT DONALD TRUMP?

Let me start by answering the posed question.  YES.  Should I be worried?  Not really.  For one, I'm old, and Hawaii is far away from him.  Also, while all recent polls see him ahead of Joe Biden for our next president, there are 244 days left, and Donald Trump shows all the signs of self-destruction, combined with a plethora of court appearances to come.  In short, the margin of difference--the Never-Trumpers--titillated by Nikki Haley, could well still grow and become the crucial factor on November 5. You know by now that  Nikki Haley dropped out of the Republican primary  and it will now be Donald Trump vs Joe Biden, again, on November 5.   Time  magazine today reported: Trump’s triumph gets him another step closer to reclaiming the presidency and pursuing   a draconian policy agenda unlike any the nation has ever seen. He has   vowed   to round up and deport millions of undocumented immigrants; reimpose his travel ban on Muslim-majority countries; purge the federal bureaucracy

YOU WIN SOME, YOU LOSE SOME

Today was mostly a good day for Donald Trump.  Although this was expected, the  Supreme Court today voted to allow Trump to run for president,  a 9-0 vote against the Colorado verdict, and a 5-4 majority preventing other states from removing him from the primary ballot.  Turns out that important as this ruling is, all those states threatening keep Trump from qualifying are Democratic states where Biden would have gotten all the electoral votes anyway.  No battleground state was involved. Frankly, I think this move at this time means that SCOTUS will now act in timely enough fashion to determine that he is  not immune to criminal prosecution  for his attempted coup on 6January2021.  At least either the Georgia ( which televises everything ) or DC trial will begin before the summer is over.  Actual judgement by November 5 would be nice, but not necessary.  We will know about the fate of Georgia district attorney Fani Willis by the middle of this month.  Yesterday Nikki Haley finally beat

TODAY IS GIRL'S DAY

But first, a look at the week to come: Donald Trump leads Nikki Haley in the Republican primary, 244 to 24.  1215 clinches the vote. Actually, we are in the midst of the DC Republican primary, from Friday through Sunday for 19 delegates.  If Haley is ever to beat Trump, it will be in DC.   Donald Trump will crush Nikki Haley in all the 16 Republican primaries on Super Tuesday. The only question about the Republican primary is when Haley will give up. Will this happen after Super Tuesday? She represents the never-Trumpers, and this could be more than 10% of the Republican Party and Independents, those who will make the difference between Trump and Biden. Wouldn't it be nice for Republicans if they kissed and made up, with Haley campaigning WITH Trump into the future? If she hangs in there, that will only hurt Trump, for, after all, he is a lout, cheat and a huge threat to American Freedom and Democracy.  If he gets re-elected on November 5, that will the last election in the USA for

WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT NIKKI HALEY?

The best running mate for Donald Trump to beat Joe Biden on 5November2024 is Nikki Haley.  She was not mentioned in the   Conservative Political Action Conference  (CPAC) straw poll held this past weekend, but any common sense would lead to this conclusion...except perhaps, one, and the most important reason:  total subservience.  However, she would best balance a Trump team, as opposed to a fawning nothing.  About the MAGA people upset about what she has said about The Donald, doesn't matter, for he has them covered. The six possible veep candidates show one big surprise.  New York Representative Elise Stefanik, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, Florida Rep. Byron Donalds, Ohio Senator J.D. Vance, South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson and Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake.  Plus, former Hawaii Democratic Rep.  Tulsi Gabbard . She decided not to run for re-election two years ago, quit the Democratic Party and became a Republic
