GLOBAL WARMING: SCIENCE vs PSEUDOSCIENCE

Before focusing this science Wednesday on global warming, a short analysis of what is happening with the presidential campaign. After all the bad-mouthing by Donald Trump about the  next presidential debate, this ABC event is now again on track for Tuesday, September 10 at 9PM (EDT)  at the National Constitution Center, where rests the Liberty Bell, in Phildelphia.  Moderators will be David Muir and Linsey Davis.  The ground rules will be the same as CNN's debate between Trump and Joe Biden.  There will be no third-party candidates nor audience.  In one corner, Donald Trump at 78 and in the other, Kamala Harris at 59. Kamala Harris has gained the endorsement of so many former Republicans that I've lost count. More than 200 Republicans who previously worked for former Presidents  George Bush, senior and junior. McCain and Romney.   Read their open letter  urging voters to reject Donald Trump. Here are other notables. By November 5, this list, embarrassingly huge already, will on

THE DONALD TRUMP VS JOE BIDEN FIRST PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE IS TONIGHT

Tonight 9PM emanating from CNN in Atlanta is the first Trump-Biden debate of 2024.     I provided details on Monday .  How important is this face-off compared to debates in all of history? Is the earth flat? Is earth the center of the universe?   Nicolaus Copernicus in 1580 begged to say otherwise, quietly, and so did Galileo a couple decades later. There were various debates around 1776, and one  Great Debate  had to do with the Constitution. Lot of Great Debates regarding the history of the USA. Unit 1:   How Should Society Balance the Need for Tolerance with the Need to Protect Itself? Unit 2: How Powerful Should the National Government Be?   Unit 3: Who Should Be Allowed to Vote?    Unit 4: Should Women Have Equal Treatment Under the Law?    Unit 5: How Should Americans Treat the Land?    Unit 6: Has Industrialization Produced More Benefits or More Problems for the Nation?    Unit 7: Should the United States Pursue a Foreign Policy of Isolationism or Interventionism?    Unit 8: Wha

A HUGE WEEK FOR DONALD TRUMP

This will be a crucial week for Donald Trump.   Might begin okay today, as  Judge Aileen Cannon continues to hear arguments  regarding the classified documents trial dealing with specifics of the case.  Being a Trump appointee, Cannon has already made too many concessions to Trump's team, for she could well be replaced.    In any case, all these matters must be on the mind of Trump when he should be focused on the June 27 debate against Joe Biden, while awaiting the Supreme Court's decision on immunity from prosecution for his attempted coup on 6January2021.   In any case, the worst Trump could get in this trial would be a small slap on the wrist.  There is so little time and more important matters upcoming. In 2020, three debates were scheduled, but Trump's COVID-19 diagnosis cancelled one.  The  first debate  drew 73 million viewers (third most watched of all debates) was won by Biden.  This is the one Biden muttered,  Will you shut up, man?   The  second debate  had 63
