This will be a crucial week for Donald Trump.   Might begin okay today, as  Judge Aileen Cannon continues to hear arguments  regarding the classified documents trial dealing with specifics of the case.  Being a Trump appointee, Cannon has already made too many concessions to Trump's team, for she could well be replaced.    In any case, all these matters must be on the mind of Trump when he should be focused on the June 27 debate against Joe Biden, while awaiting the Supreme Court's decision on immunity from prosecution for his attempted coup on 6January2021.   In any case, the worst Trump could get in this trial would be a small slap on the wrist.  There is so little time and more important matters upcoming. What a week: If you are in the stock market, for Wall Street closed the latest winning week, pushing the S&P to 5,137 and Nasdaq to 16,275,  both all time highs .  The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended at 39,087, not quite up to the record of last week. Your name is  Donald John Trump .  Did you know that he is a John?  Also, that he was the #4 child, with two sisters and two brothers. The Supreme Court chose to accept his case about immunity, raising questions about when they will actually announce anything.  Some have speculated that Jack Smith might never get to prosecute him even if SCOTUS rules that he will be be immune to conviction.  I still think they will act on this measure before July, and that his failed 6January2021 coup attempt trial can still occur this summer, say in September.  Perfect timing, actually. Donald Trump will win some and lose some.  He's had some important wins so far, most having do with the Republican presidential primaries, ownership of the Republican Party and affect on Congress.  My speculation of what will happen into the future.  First, I predict that he will become the Republican presidential candidate.  A good win for him.  If, against current odds, he selects Nikki Haley as his vice-presidential running mate, another big win for him. Let me start with the Supreme Court, and all the following are my guesses. They will allow him to run for president, a win for Trump. They will say, by not hearing the appeal court decision, or taking time to make a Supreme Court decision, that Trump is not immune from prosecution.  A huge loss for Trump.   The   trials and tribulation of Donald Trump   continue this week: Last week he was found liable for $83.3 million in the E. Jean Carroll defamation case.  And, by the way, that $5 million awarded to her had to be paid, and will be held by the state pending appeal.  The same will occur this time too, which means that Trump will need to sell something to meet that need.  I might add a  thing or two about Carroll .
