FINAL DAY IN THE MARRIOTT TANG PLAZA

 Started the day with breakfast in the hotel Crossroads Buffet. Went for a final walk through the Tang Plaza and other underground malls.  Read today that the food court in Tang Plaza is the best in Singapore. Ended evening in the Executive Club. Walked 3560 steps. Today, we leave the Marriott Tang Plaza for the Ritz-Carlton Millennia. Tomorrow, the Ritz-Carlton Millennia. -

CHRISTMAS 2025 IN SINGAPORE

  The breakfast buffet at the Marriott Tang Plaza is crowded and hectic, but bountiful and wonderful.  I had two courses  The first, ramen, The second, more traditional for the Western world. After just resting from our late breakfast, decided to walk around for awhile to see what the sights would be in daylight. We were greeted by my Blue-bar Pigeon. Ion Plaza. Then went to the Executive Lounge for 2 hours of of drinks and eats to begin our Christmas Eve on Orchard Road, for the Great Singapore 2025 Christmas Eve Street Party. Walked 4472 steps today. We spent Christmas Day in Singapore mostly resting.  Won't even bother you with a great buffet breakfast.  Walked around a bit, for stores are all open here on Christmas. Had a fine time in the Marriott Tang Plaza Executive Lounge. Australian Sauvignon Blance, Shiraz and champagne, plus a Chivas Regal 12 on rocks, Went for a second course. WE ARE IN SINGAPORE

The final night on the Diamond Princess was fabulous.  Started with the usual dinner.  And I'll stop describing them because they look familiar. But will mention that I finished with a Baked Alaska, the traditional last night of a cruise dessert. The final celebration was boffo, I have three more videos to go, but they are now downloading. So I'll add them later. That was not all, for we had a midnight snack of hot dog and fries, with a gin and tonic, Last day showed that I had walked 3254 steps. Before departing the Diamond Princess, had breakfast on our veranda. Getting through the process of immigration and customs in Singapore was a breeze.  Turned out that getting a taxi to the Marriott Tang Plaza was easy. Getting close to our hotel.  This is where the Orchard Road Christmas lights begin. We love the Marriott Tang Plaza for everything is around us, from a shopping plaza below us to the excellent Executive Club and so forth. Went to lunch in our hotel, Wan Hao, ...
