I'll begin this week with a quick summary of what is happening in the U.S. and World. The U.S. Supreme Court went into session today. Don't expect much this year. How to survive President Trump will be their primary goal. The Nobel Prize announcements have begun. Six of them are awarded in physics, chemistry, physiology/medicine, literature, peace and economics. Established by the will of Swedish inventor ( dynamite ) Alfred Nobel since 1901. The award in economics was added in 1969. Swedish organizations select the winners in all categories, except for peace, which comes from Norway. Why? No one knows for sure, except that this was specified in Nobel's will. Today, U.S. scientists Mary Rundow (64) and Fred Ramsdell (64), and Japan's Shimon Sakaguchi (74), were named recipients of the prize for medicine.
