SEOUL TO TOKYO

Our final breakfast in Aria at the Westin Josun Hotel.

Had my final Shanghai Soup Dumpling breakfast.  Best yet.

Final look outside our hotel window.
Goodbye Westin Josun Seoul.
Taxis in Seoul have foot warming heat.
Don't know what in Seoul.
This is the 63 SQUARE building, when it was first opened in 1985 was the tallest outside of North America, at 819 feet. and was built as a landmark for the 1988 Summer Olympics.  Remained as South Korea's tallest until 2003.
The tallest in South Korea is now the Lotte World Tower at 1,821 feet, and 6th in the world.
Seoul air pollution.

I occurred to me that we were passing a lot of bridges over the Han River.  I later checked and found that there are 27 of these bridges.  So halfway into our ride to the airport I  began taking photos.

Other roadside objects.
This The Giant.
I was waiting to take a video of what looked like a huge phallic symbol as you drive into Inchon Airport.
It'a gone.  It was controversial.  Finally, made it to Incheon International Airport.
Asiana plane.
Goodbye Seoul.
Salt ponds.  Very fascinating.  So much so that I kept getting more photosl
I might add that there is considerable renewable energy potential around Incheon,  The tides have a daily amplitude of 34 feet.  The 1.320 MW Incheon Tidal Power Station has been proposed, to be as large as a nuclear power plant.  Ironically enough, there are various kinds of environmental and NIMBY (not in my backyard) problems.

Korean meal on plane with Kloud Beer and 17-year old Ballantine scotch.
The dessert.
First view of Japan.
Sunset.
Made it to the Tokyo Westin Hotel,  Walked 5500 steps today.
Woke up this morning to see a beautiful sight.  Looks like Mount Fuji erupting, but that is just another cloud.

HOW TO WATCH NETFLIX SHOWS

But first, maybe  President Donald Trump's 20-point Gaza Peace Plan is showing some progress .   No one expects the Hamas to accept all of them, but they did agree to release all captives and the act of handing over administration to Palestinian technocrats. So far, in the Gaza Strip, 66,288 have been killed and 169,165 wounded.   On 7October2023, almost two years ago, 1139 were killed in the initial Hamas-led attack. About my topic of the day, I've long been lamenting the overflow of watchable films and series available on Netflix and Prime.  Why expand into the plethora of other streaming options when I can't keep up with what I have, which costs me around $30/month.  And, of course, why venture out to a movie theater to end up watching a film that will cost me around that amount of money, when you add the popcorn, drink, gasoline cost, time it takes to get there and back, and the risk of a car accident or worse.  Oh, also getting infected with ...
