Today I continue into my series of going back in time and selecting past postings to re-feature.  These are picked to be very interesting, original ideas I've had, significance in my efforts to save Planet Earth and Humanity, and so forth.   Today a thought I had about preventing crime,  which turned out to be too provocative for pursuit. Pardon many, many attackers of the U.S. Capitol, and establish a committee to do the same for the rest. Essentially shut down the U.S.-Mexican border, with mass deportation to come. Undo the Biden priorities, as for example the Green New Deal and EV mandate.  Return fossil and nuclear programs.  Reduce Biden regulations. The Los Angeles County firestorms are now a week old.  While four of the seven fires have been contained, the largest, Pacific Palisades, is still only around 15% contained, and the most deadly in Eaton, with 17 of the 25 deaths, remains two-thirds uncontrolled.  Worse  Santa Ana winds of up to 70 MPH will return later today , with red flag warnings extending for the counties of San Luis Obispo to San Diego.  While other states (including Republican Texas) are pledging assistance to California, looks like the incoming pathologically vengeful  President Donald Trump  will continue to lie and criticize enemies in his second term, for he blamed Governor Gavin Newsom and President Joe Biden for the fire.  Of course they are Democrats, and California did not vote for him.  States like Hawaii will also be in big trouble in the four years to come, for Harris, percentage-wise, got more votes from Hawaii (61%) than California (59%). On this Sunday, in my 17th year of this blog, I thought, my life is now not as exciting as in the past.  While I did last month return from a nearly two-month long trip that took us from Honolulu to Seattle ( by air ); then a very long cruise through the Panama Canal to Southhampton, UK; another flight to Amsterdam, Netherlands; a European Christmas Cruise to Budapest; flight to Zurich for a couple of days; then a 27 hour return by plane to Honolulu; certainly more than virtually every one of you reading this has accomplished the past year, relatively, my earlier experiences were more memorable.
